Our homepage contains detailed information about the MBST therapy system, MBST therapy and various disorders of the musculoskeletal system. We have set up this FAQ section to provide a brief overview. Here you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions from patients who contact us directly.
MBST has been used internationally since 1998. To date, we are not aware of any side effects.
The effects of Osteoarthritis build up over long periods of time, so they cannot be counteracted overnight. However, scientific evaluations show that in more than 80% of cases, patient’s pain was significantly reduced after 3-5 therapy sessions.
Patient data shows a significant reduction in pain could be verified years after the therapy. If necessary, MBST treatment can be repeated any number of times, but the need for top ups is uncommon.

MBST therapy is based on or utilises the physical principle of nuclear magnetic resonance. Magnetic fields are combined with radio waves (HF pulses). The pulses transfer energy to the protons, measurably changing their biophysical parameters. The hydrogen nuclei first absorb energy and then release some of it back into the surrounding tissue. Scientific data indicates that MBST magnetic resonance technology stimulates various biophysical processes and triggers anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effects. The same principle of hydrogen proton excitation is also used in magnetic resonance imaging. Here, the different tissue parameters are used to generate images of the inside of the body for diagnostic purposes.

MBST has already been used with good results for herniated discs. One prerequisite is that the herniated disc does not require surgery.

MBST can be used to accelerate healing in the case of injuries for many indications. Examples include partial tears to tendons, muscles and ligaments, tendopathies such as golfer’s elbow and tennis elbow, bursitis and typical sports injuries such as meniscus lesions and patellar tendinitis. There are also bone injuries and diseases such as fractures (including fatigue fractures) and bone oedema (bone bruises).
